Working for the last 7 years to solve our most urgent problems

I realized rather late in life that I’m quite good at breaking down complex problems and solving them — and that this can be applied to most anything.

So it really comes down to time, energy, and priorities — putting the effort where it’s needed most.

In early 2019, it became clear where it was needed the most, so I sat down to look at the Constitution. And it’s a privilege to share this campaign with you.

2012-2013

Solved: Universal charging for mobile devices

When you invent something that can become as ubiquitous as the light bulb, you know it. So this got me thinking about how a portion of the money earned from a new technology standard could be used to help solve our most pressing problems — like poverty, climate instability, economic disparity, and more. Thus began a years-long process of patenting the technology in more than 80 countries around the world in an effort to harness its full potential.

2014-2017

Solved: How to raise ethical standards, accountability, and higher consciousness within the global economic system

I had been contemplating this idea long before 2014, but it all began to come together then — an effort that culminated in a new movement designed to integrate love throughout the world economy.

2019

Solved: How to reintegrate democracy into the U.S. political system

Focusing on this problem required putting years of work and investment aside and at risk — a gut-wrenching decision, but one that seemed obvious and necessary within the bigger picture.

I found that the work I had done from scratch over the years aligned seamlessly with the way government is designed to work. And when I saw how this could be integrated within the system due to the work of the founders in the Constitution, to run for President was no longer an option but a responsibility.

2020

Solved: How to provide transparent election results from outside the system

In a year defined by tremendous needs, maintaining peace and democracy in the United States is perhaps most fundamental to us all. Creating a transparent voting system as a means to peace required prioritizing it above all other responsibilities as a Presidential candidate at a cost that remains to be seen.

The potential benefits are quite significant. This service facilitates a true check on the official election results that is beyond control - media, corporate, or governmental. It provides the means for millions of people to vote from home with confidence, avoiding the difficult choice between civic duty and health risks. And, in the process, it can raise untold millions for charity at a time it’s needed the most.

This voting system is offered wholeheartedly to help with the present crisis and empower everyday people in the U.S. political process. It’s simply what one person could do to serve the nation from outside the system.

At one point in my life, I thought I’d travel for the rest of it. But doing so gave me a freedom and perspective that I felt like everyone should be able to experience.

New Zealand, 2010

the morning I realized I couldn’t just travel the rest of my life — that there was work to be done. At the time, I didn’t know what.

As I wrapped up my travels, I unceremoniously devoted myself to serving others. It changed my life completely.

And it’s led here.

There’s a little more in store. You can follow the campaign here.

Enjoy.
